The Minnesota Twins announced Monday they will reinstate outfielder Wilkin Ramirez from the disabled list to replace the roster spot previously occupied by Jamey Carroll, who was traded to the Kansas City Royals on Sunday.
Ramirez has been out since May 26 due to a concussion. He has spent the last three weeks rehabbing at High-A Fort Myers and Double-A New Britain.
In 23 games for the Twins this season Ramirez is hitting .244/.271/.311 with three doubles.
