The Minnesota Timberwolves are slated to open their Summer League stint in Las Vegas on July 12 against the Dallas Mavericks.

After opening against the Mavericks at the Thomas and Mack Center, the Wolves will play the Wizards on July 13 and the Bulls on July 15.

Like last year, Vegas Summer League, which runs July 11-21 will be set up in a tournament style, with each of the 24 teams (23 NBA squads, one D-League Select team) playing three preliminary games before moving into a double-elimination tournament.

In total, each team is guaranteed to play five games.

The Wolves' Summer League squad is likely to feature their first round pick from the upcoming NBA Draft (June 26th), along with second-year players Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad.

Wolves preliminary games

July 12 -- Dallas Mavericks, 5:30 p.m. CT
July 13 -- Washington Wizards, 9:30 p.m.
July 15 -- Chicago Bulls, 3:30 p.m.
