Malcolm Lee's NBA debut will have to wait a little longer.

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Wednesday they have re-assigned Lee to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Developmental League for the second time.

Lee has yet to appear in a regular-season game with the Wolves since undergoing knee surgery during training camp. He appeared in three games in his first stint with the Skyforce earlier this month, averaging 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 25.3 minutes.

Per NBA rules, a first- or second-year player can be assigned to the team's D-League affiliate a maximum of three times in a season.
