The Minnesota Timberwolves recalled guard Malcolm Lee on Tuesday from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League.

Lee had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee just before training camp started and was sent to Sioux Falls for three games on a rehab assignment. He averaged 9.7 points, six assists and 2.7 rebounds with the Skyforce.

Lee was taken by the Chicago Bulls with a second-round pick (No. 43) last June out of UCLA and then traded to the Wolves in a draft-day deal.
