The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a future second round draft pick to the Cleveland Cavs for Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair.

Trading Sessions became general manager David Kahn's top priority after signing point guard Luke Ridnour to a four-year contract earlier this month, but before people start breaking out the Telfair jerseys again, this trade may be slightly deceiving.

Per Yahoo! Sports, West is only guaranteed $500,000 this season, which means the Wolves are likely to waive him in order to save cap space. It's also fair to guess that Telfair won't put on a Wolves jersey in 2010 either. Both West and Telfair have contracts that expire after the 2010-2011 season.

"I want to thank Ramon and Ryan for their time with us last season," Kahn said in a statement. "With the arrivals of Luke Ridnour, Michael Beasley, Nikola Pekovic and the signing of Darko Milicic, it was clear that Ramon and Ryan would have lesser roles this season if they were to remain. This move provides them a better opportunity in Cleveland and adds to our flexibility both this season and beyond in relation to the salary cap."
