It's almost as if Lazar Hayward">Lazar Hayward never left.

The Minnesota Timberwolves re-signed the forward to a 10-day contract on Tuesday, two days after waiving him to avoid guaranteeing the rest of his deal.

Hayward appeared in two games in his last stint with the Wolves, playing 12 minutes with two points, two assists and a rebound.

The Wolves also announced coach Rick Adelman would miss Tuesday's game against Atlanta for personal reasons. Assistant Terry Porter was to serve as acting head coach in Adelman's absence.
