The Wolves once again will be shorthanded Tuesday, as they play the Suns. Kevin Martin is not ready to return from a non-displaced fracture on his left thumb, according to team reporter Mark Remme.

It's the seventh game Martin has missed his fracturing his thumb. He saw a hand specialist Monday in Los Angeles, according to the team. It's still uncertain if he'll play Saturday in the team's next game.

Pek update

Center Nikola Pekovic might play tonight, however. His return would be a huge boost to the Wolves frountcourt.

Pekovic hasn't played since he left a game Jan. 27 with a sore right Achilles. Pekovic has averaged 18.0 points and 9.1 rebounds per game this season.
