College GameDay makes logical choice, passes over Gophers-Badgers

The Gophers-Badgers College GameDay dream is finished. A longshot to begin with, the GameDay crew dashed those hopes and instead selected Baylor-Oklahoma State.

 


The Gophers did sneak into the BCS standings (No. 25), but did not make the AP top 25. Minnesota is ranked No. 23 in the USA Today coaches' poll.

The Gophers face a daunting task Saturday, coming off the bye. While Minnesota had the week off, the Badgers were busy steamrolling Indiana, 51-3.

Saturday's kickoff has been announced for 2:30 p.m.
