There will be no third straight EuroBasket Championship title for Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio and the Spain national team.

Spain was knocked out in the semi-finals of the biannual tournament Friday in a 75-71 overtime loss to France. San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker dropped 32 points for France, including a key 3-pointer near the end of the fourth quarter that helped his team force overtime.

Rubio was ineffective in the semi-final match-up. He played only 15 minutes, finishing with two points and one assist. He sat the final eight minutes after turning the ball for the fourth time.

Spain can still prevent leaving Slovenia completely empty handed if it can defeat Croatia on Sunday in the tournament's bronze medal game.
