Push for Open Wolf Season Being Made

Minnesota Congressmen Collin Peterson and Rick Nolan have started a push to allow an open hunting season on grey wolves in Minnesota. The bill proposed would remove federal regulations stating that wolves may only be killed if they present danger or for conservation needs. Currently, it is estimated there are 10,000 wolves in the state, causing them to be listed as threatened rather than endangered.
