U of M Researchers May Have Solution for Clean Water

University of Minnesota College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resources researchers may have found a way to remove mercury and other toxins from bodies of water. It’s called the ‘super sponge’ and it works exactly as it sounds – put it in the water, squeeze it and it will absorb the mercury and bacteria in the water. Currently there are two companies interested in taking this product to market.
