The Sporting News is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings will sign offensive lineman Tom Compton.
The Minnesota native has been in the NFL since 2012 when he was picked by Washington in the sixth round. Compton spent time in Atlanta in 2016 and Chicago last season. He played a total of 342 snaps for the Bears.
Compton adds some depth and versatility to the Vikings’ offensive line group. He will like take the role that Jeremiah Sirles held last season.
