The Green Bay Packers reportedly are adding one weapon for Aaron Rodgers and in an effort to clear some cap space, they’re taking one away. The team will sign tight end Jimmy Graham and release wide receiver Jordy Nelson, according to Adam Schefter.
Packers fans wanted off-season moves. They got them today.
Going to sign TE Jimmy Graham.
Going to release WR Jordy Nelson.
Wonder how Aaron Rodgers feels.

The Nelson news comes the same day that the team, according to reports, has agreed to a 3-year contract for tight end Jimmy Graham. And Schefter’s not alone in his curiosity. We, too, wonder what Aaron Rodgers thinks.
The moves in Green Bay are part of a flurry of news and roster moves that could have a dramatic impact on the NFC North.
For example: The Jets are reportedly strongly considering former Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater, even after they’ve reportedly agreed to a deal with Josh McCown; the Cardinals are reportedly throwing big money at QB Sam Bradford, who missed most of this season for the Vikings with a chronic knee injury; Case Keenum is reportedly headed to the Denver after leading the Vikings to the NFC Championship game this season; and of course, former Washington QB Kirk Cousins is reportedly planning to sign a megacontract to be the next quarterback of the Vikings.
