Report: Wolves to sign Derrick Rose

The Minnesota Timberwolves are adding another piece to the puzzle as they battle for playoff position without Jimmy Butler.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Wolves will sign guard Derrick Rose.

Rose was most recently in Cleveland, where he played 16 games this year and scored 9.8 points per game with a .439 shooting percentage and averaged 19.3 minutes per game.

The former MVP guard played for current Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau from between 2010-11 and 2014-15.
